Count Me In" is Melonvine's take on the slower alt/pop/rock feel.
The song envisions a crime-story/romance that turns out to be be more consequence than a reward.
Songwriter Derek Thibeault was intrigued to craft it around the dysfunction between Bonnie and Clyde, and how crime and adrenaline fueled their romance. The chorus chants out "I don't wanna be alone - without you"; not knowing how one can exist in normality without the other.
